Christy Rabe
Christy Rabe is a highly respected REALTOR® and broker serving the Greater Tehachapi area, including Keene, Hart Flat, Bakersfield, and the Antelope Valley. Licensed since 2005, Christy has built an impressive career defined by professionalism, market expertise, and client-centered results. She founded Platinum Realty Group in 2018, leading it to become one of the area’s most successful independent brokerages before joining the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate network in June 2025, forming BHGRE Platinum Realty Group.
Over her career, Christy has achieved more than $259,896,000 in closed sales and 1,268 completed transactions, consistently ranking among the top agents in Tehachapi with an average rank of 2.2. A multi-million-dollar and Top Producer for over 10 years, she has guided hundreds of clients, ranging from first-time buyers to luxury home sellers and developers, through smooth, successful real estate experiences.
A Ventura native who settled in Bear Valley Springs in 2001, Christy is deeply connected to the community she serves. Together with her husband, Warren, she has raised four children locally and remains passionate about giving back through sponsorships, education, and support of local events, small businesses, and nonprofits, including the Salvation Army. Known for her honesty, integrity, and professionalism, Christy continues to redefine the real estate experience in Tehachapi, combining small town service with the national strength of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate.

Lisa MacKenzie
Lisa is the conduit that keeps the “team” running like a well-oiled machine!! Having worked with Christy as both a client and as an associate, she has the perspective of all sides.
Lisa married her soft-spoken husband, Kevin, in 2001 on a beautiful ranch in Red Bluff, CA, and moved to Tehachapi in 2013. She has two children, CJ and Alexander, who are exceedingly talented in the arts. She grew up in the Antelope Valley, graduated from Paraclete High School and later earned her BA in Liberal Studies at Chico State University.
As an Executive Assistant, Lisa runs the day-to-day operations of the office. In 2017 she earned the California Association of Realtors Certified Transaction
Coordinator designation, which only enhanced her meticulous maintenance of transactions from start to finish. Detail oriented, highly committed and exceedingly friendly, Lisa enjoys all things Broadway, camping and off-roading with her family and watching her children perform both on stage and in her living room.

Shannon Daffern
In October 1998, Shannon and her husband Tom married and settled in the Golden Hills West area of Tehachapi. A few years later, they started their family adding 2 kids, along with their awesome dog, Diesel.
Both of their kids were raised in Tehachapi, involved in numerous sports and events while growing up, and graduated from Tehachapi High School . Their daughter has settled in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and is coaching softball while earning her master’s in psychology. Their son lives in Tehachapi, completed the Airstreams certification program, and is thriving in the Renewable Energy field.
Shannon enjoys hiking and kayaking adventures, as well as exploring new places. She loves to bake and can make some addicting English Toffee!
Shannon has worked in real estate for over 20 years. When an opportunity to join Platinum Realty Group was presented in 2019, she gladly jumped on board!

Charlotte Howell
Born and raised in the Antelope Valley, Charlotte and her family moved to Tehachapi in 2018. Her only regret is she didn’t move here sooner! Charlotte loves the small town, neighborly feel along with the wildlife and the four seasons that Tehachapi offers.
Charlotte gets so much joy out of watching her children, Anna and Sean, do the things they love. She has a passion for volunteering. From PTO Vice-President to church programs to the local Salvation Army, Charlotte has given tirelessly of her time and talent. In her free time, Charlotte enjoys crochet and being outdoors.
As a transaction coordinator, Charlotte is an integral part of the operations department at Platinum Realty Group. You may not be hearing from Charlotte, but she will be diligently and efficiently working on your file until completion. We hope you will stop in and say hello!!
