Christy Rabe

As a native Californian, raised in Ventura, Christy has a great appreciation for the diversity of our area. She moved to Bear Valley Springs in 2001 and imagines living here forever. She has been married to her wonderful husband, Warren, for over 40 years and they have raised 4 children in their current home. Christy is extremely goal oriented, powerfully accountable and strongly determined. She knows the foundation of trust is paramount to any enduring relationship. Combine this with her honesty, integrity, and professionalism, and you will realize who Christy is.

Christy is dedicated to providing the highest quality of service to all of her clients. She entered Real Estate in June 2005 and attained Multi-Million Dollar Producer and Top Producer almost every year for over 10 years before branching out and starting her own brokerage in June 2018; Platinum Realty Group. After 7 successful years, she elevated her business by aligning with the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate franchise in June 2025.

Lisa MacKenzie

Lisa is the conduit that keeps the “team” running like a well-oiled machine!! Having worked with Christy as both a client and as an associate, she has the perspective of all sides.

Lisa married her soft-spoken husband, Kevin, in 2001 on a beautiful ranch in Red Bluff, CA, and moved to Tehachapi in 2013. She has two children, CJ and Alexander, who are exceedingly talented in the arts. She grew up in the Antelope Valley, graduated from Paraclete High School and later earned her BA in Liberal Studies at Chico State University.

As an Executive Assistant, Lisa runs the day-to-day operations of the office. In 2017 she earned the California Association of Realtors Certified Transaction

Coordinator designation, which only enhanced her meticulous maintenance of transactions from start to finish. Detail oriented, highly committed and exceedingly friendly, Lisa enjoys all things Broadway, camping and off-roading with her family and watching her children perform both on stage and in her living room.

Shannon Daffern

In October 1998, Shannon and her husband Tom married and settled in the Golden Hills West area of Tehachapi. A few years later, they started their family adding 2 kids, along with an awesome dog, Diesel.

Both of their kids were raised in Tehachapi, involved in numerous sports and events while growing up, and graduated from Tehachapi High School . Their daughter has settled in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and is coaching softball while earning her master’s in psychology. Their son lives in Tehachapi, completed the Airstreams certification program, and is thriving in the Renewable Energy field.

Shannon enjoys hiking and kayaking adventures, as well as exploring new places. She loves to bake and can make some addicting English Toffee!

Shannon has worked in real estate for over 20 years. When an opportunity to join Platinum Realty Group was presented in 2019, she gladly jumped on board!

Charlotte Howell

Born and raised in the Antelope Valley, Charlotte and her family moved to Tehachapi in 2018. Her only regret is she didn’t move here sooner! Charlotte loves the small town, neighborly feel along with the wildlife and the four seasons that Tehachapi offers.

Charlotte gets so much joy out of watching her children, Anna and Sean, do the things they love. She has a passion for volunteering. From PTO Vice-President to church programs to the local Salvation Army, Charlotte has given tirelessly of her time and talent. In her free time, Charlotte enjoys crochet and being outdoors.

As a transaction coordinator, Charlotte is an integral part of the operations department at Platinum Realty Group. You may not be hearing from Charlotte, but she will be diligently and efficiently working on your file until completion. We hope you will stop in and say hello!!

Chris "Mary" Morales

Amanda Rabe

For Amanda, Tehachapi is ‘Home’. After adventuring out of town for a couple of years, she was drawn back by the small-town feel, the nature, and surrounding mountains. Amanda married her husband Sean in 2018 and they welcomed their son, Asher, a year later.

Amanda worked in the grocery business for 8 years before deciding to make a career change. With her customer service skills, her desire to help people, and the curiosity of real estate, she knew becoming a REALTOR® would bring her so much joy. Having earned her real estate license in July of 2023, her drive to work hard, along with her trustworthiness and honesty, has already proven that Amanda will thrive and conquer her real estate goals.

When she’s not out selling real estate, you can find her in the community running 5k’s or at the gym lifting weights.
